Travel from Sossusvlei and its mighty red dunes to the desert coastal town of Swakopmund and finally the great plains of Etosha National Park where animals still roam freely.
Day 1-2: NamibRand Nature Reserve, Sossusvlei, Deadvlei

You will depart from Windhoek International Airport with a private charter flight to the NamibRand Nature Reserve.
Discover some of the most beautiful aerial scenery when transitioning from the mountainous Windhoek on your way to Sossusvlei.
After arrival at the airstrip, you will be welcomed by the friendly staff of Sossusvlei Lodge. Sossusvlei Lodge fits into its surroundings seamlessly and truly provides an extraordinary and memorable experience.
The superior accommodation units at Sossusvlei Lodge feature a patio to enjoy views over the desert landscapes, a spacious air-conditioned twin-bedded room, and a full en-suite bathroom.
You will depart from Sossusvlei in the late afternoon for a breathtaking sundowner drive and sundowner setup.
The next day, you can expect to have an early departure from the lodge for a Sossusvlei and Deadvlei excursion which includes a breakfast basket. A trained guide will share their knowledge of the area, animals, plant life and much more with you.

This morning, it’s back to the aircraft for a low-level scenic flight toward the Atlantic Coast. You’ll experience Sossusvlei and the surrounding area from a bird’s eye view en route to the extraordinary Namib coastline.
After arriving at Swakopmund, you will transfer to the Swakopmund Strand Hotel.
Swakopmund is a city oasis situated at the edge of the Namib Desert and the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The quaint town offers many tourist attractions like splendid buildings, a wonderful town promenade, the aquarium and many more. Be carried away by the culturally rich town that catches your eye in every corner.
Located at the promenade with views of the ocean, the Strand Hotel impresses and exceeds expectations every time featuring a spa, three restaurants, and a small Namibian and German-inspired brewery.
Included at your Swakopmund stay are an hour’s quad biking through the dunes and an amazing dolphin cruise which includes sparkling wine and fresh oysters.

Take to the skies and experience how the landscape changes from the Namib Desert and the skeleton coast to the endless pans of Etosha National Park. As your flight is nearing Etosha, be prepared to start your Namibian wildlife experience.
Keep an eye out for the various animals existing in a natural habitat while you have an aerial view en route to your destination, Onguma Bush Camp. Etosha National Park is one of Africa’s greatest safari destinations and delights every time, adding to the already bizarre collection of Namibian landscapes.
Onguma Bush Camp truly sets the standard when it comes to rarity. Centered around a busy waterhole makes for a perfect viewpoint to take in the best wildlife scenery. Onguma enables you to experience African wildlife luxuriously.
Activities include the Onguma sundowner drive and an afternoon or morning guided Etosha game drive. Both activities have beverages included.

On this day, you will check out from the guest house and transfer to the airport for your flight to Kigali International Airport. On Arrival, our professional English-speaking driver guide will pick you up and drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a Gorilla trekking experience the next day.
Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorilla trekking)
Accommodation: Four Gorillas Lodge
After breakfast, head out to the park head offices with a packed lunch while accompanied by your guide and have a briefing about the dos and Don’ts while in the park with gorillas. After that, head for gorilla trekking through the mist rainforest. Trekking can take 2 hours or up to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gentle giants. Make sure you carry enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets
At the end of this long and exciting adventure, you’ll return to the lodge for a well-deserved shower and relaxation.

The day begins with a delightful breakfast, after which you will return to the mainland and prepare to drive back to Kigali International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.

220 Volts/AC50Hz. Sockets are UK-style, 3-pin square plugs. Power is from the government in the city/major towns and a generator with inverter backup in the Safari Lodges and Camps.
Currency:
Foreign currency must be changed at the Bank, Bureau de Change, and Hotel/Safari lodge/Camp/Resort. Major Credit Cards, Master cards, Visa, and American Express, are usually accepted throughout the country. Where credit cards are accepted, the payment will normally be recorded in US$ regardless of the card’s default currency.
Clothing:
Dress is mainly informal and should be comfortable as well as practical. Something warm should be brought along for early morning and evenings. Safari clothes are available from hotels/lodges/camps.
Baggage:
Where possible, travel light. Baggage space on safari is limited to a medium suitcase or soft bag per person plus a reasonable amount of hand luggage. There is a 15 Kilogram per person limit on all flights to the wildlife sanctuaries. Excess luggage must be stored in your arrival hotel.
Water:
You will find many different of opinion of what is safe and what is not. We recommend for peace of mind, to drink local Bottled Mineral water. It is important to drink plenty of water especially during the hotter months. We would recommend that guests drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water per day to limit the effects of dehydration.
Health;
Africa is a safe and secure destination; however, it is a good idea to take a few precautions. Kindly consult your GP or local doctor at least 6 weeks before you travel, with regards: Malaria prophylactics. East Africa is a known malaria area and preventive measures are essential.
You are advised to take one of the recommended anti-malarial drugs. Be sure to wear long sleeved shorts and trousers after sunset and spray the exposed parts of your body with a mosquito repellent spray Remember to protect yourself from direct sun rays with sunscreen cream or safari hat.

Please be careful when photographing public buildings, airports, bridges, the national flag and people in uniform. Ensure that you have sought permission before photographing local people and their villages. If in doubt, please check with your guide.
