You board your shuttle early in the morning and embark on a scenic drive through 3 provinces of our beautiful country. Upon arrival, we take you to your lodge where you can have a quick lunch after check in. In the afternoon you’ll join a game drive in a nearby Big 5 private game reserve. In the evening you have dinner deliciously prepared by your host, before retiring to your room for a restful night’s sleep.

We get up at dawn to make the most of our Kruger safari. We spend the morning in search of all the iconic animal species, including the Big 5. Your dedicated private nature guide will frequent dams, waterholes and riverbeds where animals are most frequently seen to maximize animal viewing opportunities. He will also show you different landscapes and tell you about the importance of vegetation and soil for the different animal species that live there.
Later in the morning, we stop at one of the picnic spots or at the rest camp, where you can enjoy the breakfast prepared for you by the lodge. For lunch, we stop at one of the rest camps (at your own cost). We continue our safari for the afternoon and return to the lodge where a delicious dinner will be waiting for you.
All game drives are conducted on an open safari vehicle that gives you a perfect vantage point of viewing and photographing animals from their best angle, high over the bushes and grasses.

Today we leave the lodge after breakfast and make our way to the majestic scenery of the Northern Drakensberg Escarpment, where you’ll get to see some of the viewpoints, picture opportunities, short hikes and waterfalls of one of the greenest natural Canyons of the world. It is a day you will never forget as a conclusion of a trip of a lifetime to the South African bushveld.

We spend another day in Kruger National Park, exploring a different area this time; always in search for fabulous animal sightings and picture opportunities. Ask your guide any question about nature and animals, and he will amaze you with his profound knowledge and understanding of nature.
In the evening, we take you to Tshukudu Bush Camp in Tshukudu Private Game Reserve (Part of Greater Kruger) for dinner and an overnight stay in their comfortable cottages.

Today we leave the camp early to join the riverboat safari on Olifants River near Phalaborwa in a Big 5 Game Reserve. Observe the animals from the unique perspective of a boat while enjoying your sundowner drinks. You will enjoy breakfast on the boat while watching the animals. Later we return to the bush camp on time for the afternoon safari at the private game reserve. Your guide will prepare dinner for you at the camp, before another night’s restful sleep.

On your last day you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the camp and a dip in the pool, before we take you to the shuttle departure location. After your transfer, you will be back at OR Tambo Airport by 6 pm.

220 Volts/AC50Hz. Sockets are UK style, 3 pin square plugs. Power is from the government in the city/major towns and generator with inverter back up in the Safari Lodges and Camps.
Currency:
Foreign currency must be changed at the Bank, Bureau de Change, and Hotel/Safari lodge/Camp/Resort. Major Credit Cards, Master card, Visa, American Express, are usually accepted throughout the country. Where credit cards are accepted, the payment will normally be recorded in US$ regardless of the card’s default currency.
Clothing:
Dress is mainly informal and should be comfortable as well as practical. Something warm should be brought along for early morning and evenings. Safari clothes are available from hotels/lodges/camps.
Baggage:
Where possible, travel light. Baggage space on safari is limited to medium suitcase or soft bag per person plus reasonable amount of hand luggage. There is 15 Kilogram per person limit on all flights to the wildlife sanctuaries. Excess luggage must be stored in your arrival hotel.
Water:
You will find many different of opinion of what is safe and what is not. We recommend for peace of mind, to drink local Bottled Mineral water. It is important to drink plenty of water especially during the hotter months. We would recommend that guests drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water per day to limit the effects of dehydration.
Health;
South Africa is a safe and secure destination; however, it is a good idea to take a few precautions. Kindly consult your GP or local doctor at least 6 weeks before you travel, with regards: Malaria prophylactics. East Africa is a known malaria area and preventive measures are essential.
You are advised to take one of the recommended anti-malarial drugs. Be sure to wear long sleeved shorts and trousers after sunset and spray the exposed parts of your body with a mosquito repellent spray Remember to protect yourself from direct sun rays with sunscreen cream or safari hat.

Photography:
Please be careful when photographing public buildings, airports, bridges, the national flag and people in uniform. Ensure that you have sought permission before photographing local people and their villages. If in doubt, please check with your guide.
