Upon arrival at Windhoek International Airport (no later than 9 am), you will be welcomed with a warm smile by your guide and after a short briefing, your Namibia hiking tour can begin. Leave Windhoek and embark on a journey north, passing through the small town of Okahandja along the way.
You destination today is the charming Waterberg Guest Farm. After a short rest, you will go on your first hike together with your guide hiking along one of the guest’s farm’s natural trails, to the small Waterberg Mountain.
Here you will be greeted with a stunning view of the Waterberg Plateau. In the evening you will return to your lodge for a delicious meal and stay overnight.

After breakfast, your guide leads you on a casual hike through the Omumborongonga tree “leadwood in English”. This tree is the heaviest wood in the world and according to local Herero Folklore, the very first humans stepped out of the first Omumboronganga tree.
After hiking through this enchanting forest, you have the chance to freshen up before your journey continues towards the Etosha National Park – a prominent spot for Namibia hiking tours.
Etosha National Park is the most famous national park in Namibia for a good reason.
In the afternoon, you headout for a game drive on which you will have the opportunity to spot some of the park’s wild inhabitants. After your game drive, head to your camp situated just outside the Etosha National Park where you will spend the next two nights.

The popular Etosha National Park is known to deliver fantastic sunrises, so if you are an early riser you will be rewarded with spectacular sunrises. It is also during the cool morning hours that the animals are most lively, so you will want to start your game drive as early as possible.
During the game drive, you have a chance to admire elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes and many types of antelope species. If you are lucky, you may see a black rhino and a leopard lurking in the bushes.
You never know what a safari in Etosha National Park may bring, but your trained safari guide will help you find animal you may otherwise have missed. In the evening, you will make your way back to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Have a lazy morning with a sumptuous breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere, then make your way to the Vingerklip Lodge, where you will spend two nights. After a light lunch, you are spend time lounging by the pool before you go on a beautiful afternoon hike.
Together with your guide, you hike around the Eagles Nest Plateau towards the Vingerklip – a rock formation which resembles a finger pointing towards the sky. Keep your eyes open for small antelope species as well as zebras, kudu and giraffes.
The short ascent to the Vingerklip will be rewarded with a fantastic 360 degree view of the stunning Uganda Valley below.
Later make your way back to the lodge via a shortcut, where you will spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner, get into your cozy chalet and for a restful night.

Today – Embark on another great hike, starting at your lodge, you hike to and then around the southern terrace. Along the way you will stop at several viewpoints offering you spectacular views of the Uganda Valley, your experience guide will be sharing his wealth of local knowledge with you and tell you more about the flora and fauna in the area as well as unique geological features found in this region.
The hike ends a top the Eagles Nest Plateau with a delightful lunch with a magnificent view.
Afterwards, you can relax and enjoy the vintage point or descend back down to the lodge and take a swim to cool down. As the day nears to ending, you should visit a lookout deck, overlooking the local waterhole. Here you can admire the enchanting sunset with a cool and refreshing drink in hand, have dinner and spend the night.

Desert elephant in Damaraland

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading in to the Damaraland, along the journey you can stop at the Herero Women’s Craft Market and purchase some homemade souvenirs. The Brandberg region is today’s destination – the highest elevation in Namibia which can be seen from a far.
Brandberg got its name thanks to its reddish granite rock, which glows in the light of the evening sun. It is well-known for its rock art which is distributed all over the mountain range. With a local guide, you will visit the “White Lady” which is the most famous rock painting. A short hike uphill will lead you into the Tsisab Gorge, boulders, steep cliffs and impressive rock formations line the path you go.
After that, your journey continues to Uis. Look forward to a very special adventure that awaits you and start with a sundowner drive in the late afternoon. After a stunning sunset in a picturesque setting, you will arrive at your camp, the beautiful camp has been set up for you in the middle of nowhere.
Enjoy a cold welcome drink, get comfortable at the fireplace and watch how a delicious dinner is prepared for you over an open fire. At the end of your meals, you can rest at the crackling fire, listen to the sounds of the wilderness and marvel at the incredible starry sky. Or you can choose to rest in your tent for an unforgettable night in one of the wildest of all areas.

Start your day at sunrise, sip on a hot cup of coffee or tea while enjoying the magic of your pristine surroundings for the last time. Then back to Uis where your breakfast is already waiting for you.
Your journey will lead you to the edge of the mighty Erongo Mountains to the rustic Omandumba Bush Camp where you will spend two nights. In the afternoon, you can take part in another hike, to stretch your legs and explore your surroundings. A sundowner drive to a fantastic viewpoint is the perfect end to the day, enjoy a refreshing drink while watching a beautiful Namibia sunset from a hilltop.
Once you are back in the camp, enjoy a delicious dinner and have a night sleep.

This is another exciting day in waiting. After breakfast and a short drive, you begin a hike which will lead you through the imposing granite rock formations of the Erongo Mountains. It is a beautiful landscape, once inhabited by the ancient San.
Your guide will show you some of the hidden and well preserved rock art left by these hunter/gatherers of ages ago. At the end of the hike, you will return to the camp, and enjoy a warm lunch. You may spend some time relaxing before visiting the Living Museum of Ju/‘Hoansi-San/Bushmen close by, here you can go on a bushwalk with a San guide where you will learn about traditional hunting methods, religious beliefs and to find out which plants are suitable for medical purposes.

Have a relaxed breakfast before continuing your journey, soon you will notice the Spitzkoppe Mountains on the horizon, towering over the surrounding landscape. After a brief photo stop at the Spitzkoppe Bridge, you continue along the Namibian backroads until you can feel a cool see breeze and the fresh air of the Atlantic Ocean.
Many a ship has run aground on this coastline and along the way you stop at one of these shipwrecks, which can be seen from the shoreline.
Your today’s destination is the charming seaside town – Swakopmund, your guide will show you some of the town’s main attractions before you arrive at your accommodation – The Swakopmund Guesthouse.
You have the rest of the afternoon to spend at your leisure, Swakopmund offers a variety of dinner options and your guide knows all the best restaurants.

Have an early breakfast before heading into the Moon Landscape, this almost other-worldly place offers some of the most beautiful hiking opportunities. From a distance, the region looks desolate and uninhabited. But on your hike, your guide can show you various plants and may be some creatures which have developed ingenious ways of surviving his harsh climate. Of the plants, none is more famous than the Welwitschia mirablilis. This fascinating plant dots the landscape and can grow well over one thousand years old, as the midday sun starts to make its presence felt, you head to the Goanikontes Oasis to end your hike and reward yourself with an ice cream or a lunch.
Once back in Swakopmund, you will spend the rest of the afternoon as you please. Overnight at Swakopmund Guesthouse.

Leave to the coast and journey back into the inland, you make your way through the Kuiseb and Gaub passes, crossing dried riverbeds along the way. After the heavy rains, the rivers sometimes flow with water for a short while and this makes for a special sight.
You stop at the small settlement of Solitaire where you can enjoy a light lunch. Once back on the road, you head further into the Namib- Naukluft region and arrive at your accommodation for the night. At the Elegant Desert Camp, you are welcome to spend the rest of the afternoon lounging by the pool or explore the area on foot. A delicious dinner will be served under the stars.

Rise early this morning, before sun rise. This is because you are only a short drive from the gates of the Namib-Naukluft Park.
Your guide will take you to a deserted dune, away from the main crowds from which can marvel at the spectacular morning light across the oldest desert in the world. Following a breakfast picnic, you head deeper into the desert. After visiting Sossusvlei you will start your guided walk in company of your guide, make your way over the desert dunes and through another hidden “Vlei” towards the memorable Deadvlei.
The white clay pan, with its dried camelthorn trees and with the blue sky above makes for a surreal setting. You will also visit the Sesriem Canyon, where you can take a walk along the dried river bed of the canyon’s gorge.
With plenty of new impressions to savour, you exit the park around midday and continue onwards to your lodge. In the evening, enjoy a hearty meal and a good night rest.

Rise early, have breakfast and then climb aboard an open 4×4 vehicle and start driving up the nearby mountain plateau. The drive can take up to two hours and offers beautiful scenery along the way, you might even spot some mountain zebras, kudu or oryx on the drive.
Once you have reached the mountain top, begin your hike and descend into the Quiver Tree Gorge providing you with stunning landscapes and scenery. Keep an eye out for any animal tracks you might find along the way and your guide will interpret them for you. Also you will come upon crystal clear water pools and you might be in the mood to have a quick swim.
You will enjoy picnic lunch under the shade of a tree in the gorge, at the end of the hike you will be greeted with a cold and refreshing drink. You will then be brought back to your accommodation for an afternoon of rest either in your room or by the pool.

After a relaxed breakfast, you start your journey back to Windhoek. Along the way you will enjoy a good cup of coffee or lunch, should you be interested but both are optional. You will drive through the small town of Rehoboth and arrive in the capital city at around 1 or 2 pm. Your guide will bring you to the airport or the hotel of your choice in the city marking the end of your safari.
